Time to Spring into Sailing and PPYC Participation!
 
There are two events coming up that we want to spring into. 
 
First, join us for the Wednesday Night Race Kickoff THIS Saturday March 30th at 2:00. Some of us regulars will be there, and we would love to meet skippers and crew that want to put Wednesday Night Racing fun onto their calendar in 2024. Just do it, you can thank me later.

Second, our clean-up day is almost here. We need a big showing of PPYC pride for our lakefront and clubhouse. We are privileged to have both, and this is just a small way that each of us can roll up our sleeves for a few hours and give back. So, please sign up for the Marina Clean Up Day on April 6th.
 
Next week it all begins, Wednesday Night Racing and LATH will be starting back up. Signups are open:

Start a Wednesday Night Race tradition.


On March 30th, from 2 to 4:00 hear what Wednesday Night Racing is about and how to get started. We would love to see some additional boat owners join us. It took a little encouragement for most of us to get started. But once we did, we found it worthwhile to carve out time in the middle of the week to prioritize this rewarding activity.

This is also for those of you who like to crew and strategize. You are vital to Wednesday Night Racing too. No experience necessary, just an eagerness to learn and continually improve.

Spring Fling Regatta and Social
April 21
Join us for the Spring Fling Regatta and Social to kick off the sailing season. This regatta is open to all, regardless of experience. This will be a distance course around the lake. Afterward we will all gather back at the marina for food & soft drinks.

May 4
Percy Priest Yacht Club cordially invites you to participate in our Exodus Regatta. The regatta will be held on J. Percy Priest Lake in Nashville, Tennessee. Land based activities will be held at Hamilton Creek Sailboat Marina.

Membership Cards

PPYC membership cards have gone electronic! Now you can load them to your phone with your other electronic cards. If you are old school like me, you can print them off and tuck them into your wallet. Or, sign into the website and just admire it any time you are land bound and longing for a sail.
If you travel, your card will get you in the door at many sailing clubs. At the very least, use it as a conversation starter to get a crew position while you are visiting some far away sailing venue.
 
To get your membership card:

1.      Log onto the PPYC Home page

2.      After you log in, click your name in the top right corner of the website. Then select "Profile".

3.      In the Membership Summary section of your profile, select either "JPG" or "PDF" after “Download Membership Card”.

4.   Admire!
