Another great training opportunity has popped onto our calendar for Saturday March 2nd!
Who is this for? Everyone is invited but you should jump at the chance if you fit into one of these:
- If you or someone you know was born after January 1st, 1989 - sign up! IT'S THE LAW to operate a boat on Tennessee waters.
- If you are new to Tennessee, this is your single source to get caught up on what you are required to know.
- If you have been wanting to get your TN Safe Boater test knocked out - Boom!
- If you have a young person who will be operating a boat sometime in their lifetime. Get them signed up!
- If you are an efficient person this is for you. Where else can you get coffee cake in the morning, great instruction and the opportunity to take an exam for your boater's license. (boaters safety certificate)
Get registered now so we can make sure there are enough participants to hold the class. If you wait too long, this opportunity will vanish!
Some details:
- Brown bag your own lunch. (You can't just live on coffee cake...)
- If you are going to take the exam for your license, you need to pre-purchase an exam ticket for $10.00. A Type 600 boating safety exam permit from any business (license agent) that sells hunting and fishing licenses (WalMart sporting goods, bait stores, marinas, etc.). You will need your social security number and driver's license if applicable.
- YOU DO NOT HAVE TO TAKE THE TEST TO TAKE THIS CLASS.
