Winter Pool is here! The lake level is currently 483.18’, almost seven feet below Summer Pool, and projected to dip below normal average Winter Pool level [483’] over the next few days.
The Club Boats are now unavailable for use until further notice. The level needs to be consistently back to 487’ to make it safe to sail them, and that will probably not be until the usual rise to Summer Pool in the March-April timeframe.
For our members who are boat owners and do some sailing in Winter — particularly if you’re new to this lake — just bear in mind that new potential aground hazards are seven feet closer to your keel during Winter Pool. You can always easily find lake information by clicking the PPL & HCSM Info button on the Home page of our web site.
