After a windward start in an east breeze, ten Spin and Non-Spin boats clustered mid-lake as the wind turned off. Spinnakers hoisted and sails went wing on wing and ghosted along poised for the wind to return from the south. The breeze did fill and catapulted the boats downwind, followed by a beat and short reach to the finish. New and seasoned sailors then headed to the clubhouse for Richard's Octoberfest feast and celebrated the winners and the stellar work of our dedicated volunteers.
