Life Jackets Reminder

The unfortunate drowning on the lake earlier this week is a reminder of the inherent risks that are always present during fun times on the water. As a Club, we always strongly encourage all members and guests to wear your life jacket. Just put it on. It can’t save your life if you don’t.

Fall Volunteer Needs

We canceled the Race Committee training scheduled for this Saturday due to limited interest.  As we approach the fall regatta season, we definitely will need volunteers in order to hold these events. Check the fall calendar for your availability. You will learn a lot about sailing when you volunteer. And I know that many have enjoyed a great season of sailing on other members' sailboats. Working an event is a great way to give back to the club for providing those sailing opportunities.
