Cleanup and Volunteer Day
About this event
This is a day when we need to pitch in and get the Marina and our Club assets up to snuff.
- Hand wash outside flag boat- no pressure washer.
- Clean up and remove any items i/s flag boat not needed.
- Pick up trash on streets and waterfront from gate to boat ramp
- At minimum wash i/s and outside club sail boats.
- wash inside and outside Safety boats.
- Wash i/s of all trash cans.
- Clean kitchen and the equipment
- Clean windows
- Clean silver
- Clean all BBQ grills.
- Clean main building windows both levels
- Clean and polish trophies and glass cases
- Empty and clean ice maker, install new filter
- Put a signup list on the icemaker for quarterly filter changes
- Prep. Tasks
- Install, all flags and other regatta equipment needed.
- Organize equipment for easy access.
- Install latrine.
- Mount club boat motors, test run, top off the gas and tilt to sleep.
- Fill all propane tanks.
- Fill all gas cans and top with sea foam. 4 oz.
- Remove and neatly store boat covers, in asset building.
- Raise Bimini, prep for sea duty, safety equipment etc.
- Project Tasks
- Install brick cooking pad, providing that metro grounds have removed the west end bushes.
- Repair one motor mount rack.
