When: This Saturday, February 22, 2025, 9:00 AM until 12:00 PM

What: Coastal navigation answers the questions, "where am I?" and "How do I get to where I want to go?".

 

This course touches on reading a chart, aids to navigation, tides and currents, determining one's position, plotting a course, planning a course to steer, and basic piloting.

 

These are concepts that would be good to know if you ever plan on entering an ocean or Great Lakes race. These concepts are also needed if you plan on cruising the coast or the Caribbean someday.
