Hey Folks,

Many people have been crazy-busy behind the scenes preparing for this year. The calendar is full and the education and sailing events are falling into place.

Speaking of education, this weekend was the Introduction to Coastal Navigation. Coming up next on March 1st, Richard Hook Lewis will hold his inspiring, interactive and delicious Cooking and Food Safety Class. Richard is a food services professional and this is a don't miss opportunity!

Dig into all the events below, I hope you will add several to your calendar! We have training opportunities, social events, volunteer opportunities and most of all Sailing!  Please speak up if you have ideas.  Brian and I are actively seeking your input especially for sailing social activities. This is YOUR club.

One new twist you will see is an invite to the OL Shultz Alive Hospice Regatta out of Harbor Island Yacht Club on Old Hickory Lake. This is a well-attended regatta for cruiser on one weekend and dinghies on a following weekend. This has been a very successful fund raiser and way to of giving back to our community through Alive Hospice!
