Octoberfest Brought Members Together for a Fantastic Day

Light wind forecast, 3-6kts SSE, we opted to sail while we had a modicum of breeze rather than risk the wind burning off after an on-shore delay. The distance race was set for the Dam course, heading north to round Goose Island and back in a pursuit race with staggered start. The start zero-time was 11:05:00 with the first boat finishing nigh on 2 hours after the start time.
