Great Turnout for Our Latest Boating Event!
We had a strong showing for our recent on-the-water gathering, with nine boats participating in total. The mix included six sailboats, one deck boat, one safety boat, and our flag boat, which was skippered with great skill by Reggie Tullos — many thanks, Reggie!
Three boats joined the raft-up with the flag boat, while others cruised nearby, including Brian, who brought along two-thirds of an A-team crew. A rough headcount estimated 35+ people enjoying the event — though three separate counts gave three different numbers!
Through coordination and planning efforts, along with our volunteer skippers the event was a big success. The newly steaming light on the flag boat performed flawlessly, and the old 50hp engine pushed us to a solid 11 knots. Thanks to Chris Berkey for all the work on the motor
