I became interested in learning to sail probably a year or two ago after growing up power boating. I started seeing videos online of people taking their boats all over the world, which is what first hooked me on the idea. After doing some more watching and reading, I was also intrigued by the depth of skill and knowledge that a lot of these sailors had. I'm fairly new to the Nashville area so when I found out about Percy Priest lake and the Yacht Club, I figured it would be a perfect opportunity to learn how to sail and find a community in a new city.
