New and long-standing PPYC members enjoyed a gentle (albeit hot) breeze at the 2024 Luau. We also enjoyed a wonderful, themed meal and awesome tunes.
It was great to get to know several new and newish members a little better. Heather, a new member and Luau volunteer had this to say,
"The Luau was lots of fun, and a great way for some of us newer members to meet everyone and chat. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, which I really enjoyed and appreciated. And I loved the Luau spirit! It was so nice to see everyone decked out in their finest Hawaiian gear.
The food and beverages were delicious (loved that peach wine and those Spam kabobs!) and we enjoyed listening to the live music- it was such a nice evening, although maybe a little hotter than we would have liked.
It's so nice to see the friendships, fun and camaraderie at the club - I'm so glad I joined, and I can't wait to actually learn how to sail so I can spend the day on the water with everyone. "
