We have some great activities coming up on our calendar. If you are a member, please sign in to see them all and don’t forget to register for the events you plan to attend while you are online. It is best not to wait until the last minute because we have limits on capacity. I hope to meet you at the Commodore’s Dinner Party on March 16th, especially if I haven’t had the privilege of meeting you yet. Please sign up soon!

We also have some enthusiastic people looking into additional topics to fill out our 2019 training calendar. The most recent addition is this Saturday, Feb 23rd where Bob Keim and Russell Lackey talking about outboard motor maintenance and other sundry topics related to getting your sailboat ready for the season. Sign up now as this will be a popular topic and we have room for only 20 folks.

SPECIAL NOTE: If you have a sailboat or one is in your near future or you are a club boat member, then mark your calendar for the Bee Fleet Meet and Greet on March 30th. Yes, I know it is a long ways off, but I don’t want you to miss it. The Bee Fleet is a great place build confidence, spend more time on the water, get to know fellow club members better . . . and have a lot of fun.

Let’s go sailing!

Saturday, Feb 23rd, 1-3pm -- PPYC U:  Outboard Motor and Boat Maintenance

Join us this Saturday (February 23) at 1:00 at Hamilton Creek Marina Clubhouse for a seminar presented by Russell Lackey and Bob Keim on preparing your outboard motor for spring sailing, troubleshooting basic problems, cleaning carburetors, and performing other DYI outboard motor repairs.   Time permitting, they will demonstrate winch disassembly, lubrication and assembly; rigging inspection; and minor fiberglass repair.  Now is the time to start thinking about all those things we need to do to get our boats ready for spring sailing.  Think of all the questions you may have on these topics and bring them with you Saturday
.
