DOUBLE-DOUBLE REGATTA, SAT. JUNE 16TH - FIRST TIMERS WELCOME! Percy Priest Yacht Club cordially invites you and your crew to attend the Double Double Regatta on April 14th at 8:00 AM. The regatta will be held on J. Percy Priest Lake in Nashville, Tennessee. Land based activities will be held at Hamilton Creek Sailboat Marina.
Why “Double-Double”? The first “double” is for double handed. Each boat crew is to be made up of a captain and a single crew. The second double is for Jib and Main only. We will be leaving the spinnakers in the bag. Our first Double Double was last year and was an absolute blast. It was a fun double handed distance race for our experienced race crews. And it was our first ever regatta to include the Bee Fleet. If you have ever thought about enjoying a regatta with your boat, but weren't sure about doing it, then the Double Double is for you. Join the Bee Fleet in this race! We will have a special course, coached start and on the water tips to take the pressure off.
